The Space

Housed in an iconic Habib Fida Ali structure originally conceived of as a 1960s family home, The Haveli has been generously expanded to include a contemporary museum space for the vast collection. The garden with its tranquil pond and grand old trees has also been made available for events hosted at the museum, and there is a gift shop and refreshments stall on site.

Accessibility

The entirety of The Haveli is wheelchair accessible.

Gift Shop

There will be a curated selection of crafts for sale at The Haveli.  The gift shop will also carry books, greeting cards, jewellery, wearables such as printed and woven scarves and jootis and utilitarian items such as mugs. In time, the product range will be expanded to include artisanal products from all over the country.  All sale proceeds support The Haveli’s activities.

To begin with and in keeping with the Haveli’s theme of textiles, the gift shop will be the exclusive stockist for Maheen Kazim products in Karachi.

Refreshments

A small shop selling refreshments is present on the premises.

Renting of the Space

The gardens at The Haveli are available for hire by organisations and individuals, at the discretion of the management and the founders. Functions of a cultural nature are particularly welcome.  Up to 100 individuals for receptions and exceptionally, if the private gardens are required and agreed, up to 250 individuals can be accommodated in this space.
